Is BABALU kid-friendly?
Of course. Kids are welcome at BABALU Memphis East and BABALU Overton Square. Both offer a kids’ menu.
Can BABALU accommodate large parties?
Certainly. With ample heads up, we can accommodate large parties.
Can I host a private event at BABALU?
Yes, we love hosting private events at both BABALU locations. For more information, fill out the form on our website and our party experts will get back to you.
Does BABALU offer catering?
You bet. There’s no party like one catered by BABALU. The next time you need to feed a crowd at the office, a venue or your own home, call on us to *guac* it out of the park. To place an order or gather more information, complete the form on our website.
Does BABALU take reservations?
BABALU guests are seated on a first-come, first served basis. If there is a wait, we welcome you to grab a drink from the bar to enjoy.
Does BABALU have free parking?
BABALU Memphis East has a parking lot it shares with neighboring businesses. You should not have any problems finding a free spot in the lot, as it is large. BABALU Overton Square is located in an entertainment district, so parking it is a little different. There are free street parking spots along Madison Avenue and two free surface lots on Madison Avenue, across the street from the restaurant. If you prefer to park in a garage, one is located behind BABALU Overton Square. The garage entrance is located off Monroe Avenue. The Overton Square Parking Garage is free daily until 6 p.m. Parking rates apply after 6 p.m.
When does BABALU serve brunch?
We serve brunch every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at both BABALU locations. Expect incredible made-from-scratch dishes and handcrafted cocktails. Chili Crisp Filet & Eggs, anyone?
Is BABALU dog-friendly?
Yes! We welcome dogs on the patios of both BABALU locations. If you have a service animal, it is, of course, welcome inside.
Does BABALU sell gift cards?
Yes! Our gift cards can be used at any Spell Restaurant Group establishment. They can be purchased in store or online. To purchase an e-gift card from BABALU Memphis East, click here. Does BABALU have gluten-free options?
Absolutely. We have several gluten-free items on our menu. Each one is noted with an avocado icon. In addition, many of our items can be modified in a way that makes them gluten-free, so we encourage you to speak with your server before ordering. They will be happy to help you find something you’ll love.
Does BABALU have a happy hour?
We do! Monday through Friday from 3-6 p.m., you can enjoy several drink specials at BABALU Memphis East and BABALU Overton Square.
